Features and Benefits
Type BD duplex circuit breakers are designed to protect form overload and short circuits. They are not interchangeable with other breakers and they are for use in BR type panels. Type BD duplex breakers allow for the use of two single pole breakers in one space.
Thermal-magnetic tripping mechanisms are designed with both a bi-metal switch and an electromagnet. They perform as a thermal breaker for low level overloads and perform as a magnetic breaker for instantaneous tripping mechanism at high levels.
